1. Access the "My Devices" Section

After clicking "Add Device," you&rsquo;ll see the "Embedded Signup" option.
</li>

Click it, and you&rsquo;ll be redirected to your Facebook profile.
</li>

2. Navigate to the Embedded Signup Option

If you already have a verified Facebook Business account, you can select it.
</li>
<li dir="ltr" aria-level="1">
If not, you&rsquo;ll be prompted to create a new account during this process.
</li>
<li dir="ltr" aria-level="1">
Choose "Create a Business Portfolio" or select your existing verified business.
</li>
</ul>
Note: If your Facebook Business is not verified, you can still activate your WhatsApp number. However, your messaging limit will initially be restricted to 250 messages per day.

3. Configure Your Facebook Business Account

Follow the prompts to create your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).

Provide a Business Display Name&mdash;this is what customers will see on WhatsApp.

4. Create a WhatsApp Business Account

Select a category that aligns with your business.
</li>
<li dir="ltr" aria-level="1">
If no category fits, choose "Others."
</li>
</ul>
Optional: Add a description and website to your profile. This can also be updated later.

5. Choose a Category

Enter the WhatsApp number you wish to use. Ensure the number is:

Not linked to any active personal WhatsApp account.
</li>
<li dir="ltr" aria-level="2">
Preferably new or unused for seamless setup.

Important: Using an existing WhatsApp number requires deleting it from the app, which will erase all chat data permanently.

Complete OTP verification for the number.

Alternatively, Facebook may provide a virtual number if you prefer not to use your own.

6. Register Your WhatsApp Number

Once the number is verified, you&rsquo;ll be redirected to your integration platform (e.g., WA Bridge).

A unique token will be generated automatically.
</li>
</ul>

7. Generate Your Token

Assign a name to your device (e.g., "WA Bridge").
</li>

Save the details, and the number will be marked as pending approval.
</li>

Final Step: Contact your service provider (e.g., WA Bridge) to get the number approved.
